Easter Tuesday One Minute Bible Study (Gospel Reflection), Easter Week 2026 | Year - A #biblestudy

In Acts, Peter’s proclamation of the Resurrection "cuts to the heart" of the crowd, moving them from guilt to repentance. In the Gospel, Mary’s personal grief turns to joy when Jesus calls her name, transitioning her from a mourner to the first "apostle to the apostles." Both Readings highlight a transformative encounter with the Risen Christ that demands a response, calling us to witness. Happy Easter – Halleluiah!!

  1. In the Gospel, the risen Jesus appears first to weeping Mary Magdalene at the tomb. She mistakes Him for the gardener until He calls her name. Recognizing her Master, she receives the commission: “Go and tell the brothers I am ascending to my Father and your Father.” Mary announces, “I have seen the Lord!”
